Viel Spaß :) I'm sorry for my american friends and readers I really couldnt post this in english cause I wanted to show the original text.

Cali-trip: San Francisco (7. & 8. Day)

Hey guys,
So this is the last story of my California adventure..

DAY 7
We woke up and went to  the one and only Golden gate bridge !! You don't even know how long I wanted to see this beautiful Bridge :) We walked until the half and guess what we did the craziest thing : WE KISSED THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE ...well if you know our squad you would know why.

Later on we went to the fishermans warf and Pier 39, which was really nice. We went shopping in the little stores and ate lunch there. The Clams chowder soup was actually awesome even if I don't like fish as much. We even went to a small cute cupcake bakery, we had the best cupcakes in different good flavours.

After the little lunch break we went to the Alcatraz Prison ! I was soo excited to see this because of all the stories I've heard ! We went there by a ferry and had audioguides with us so we heard really interesting stories about it.

As we came back to the Hotel we had our Goodbye banquet and the Party. All the girls got ready together and we looked flawless :D haha when I say that I'd think of Elli saying this idk why...

Oh well so we got there and we had really good food and the whole squad sat together ! As we all ate our brownies Mathilde started with her funny sentences, in case you don't know she always does or says things (which could have a different meaning) without thinking about it. So she said one thing and the whole table bursted in a loud laugh, she almost choke on her food ! Well we still love you tilde ! One highlight of the banquet was the Awards, the day before we could nominate different people for awards in different catagories. Almost the whole squad one something, guess what I won ?
Right, the award to most likely to work as a character at the universal studios ! YAY !

As we all we were full we went to a big room, where we had a last day Party, it actually was a really fun night. We danced the night away and had contest like Limbo or Hoop spinning ! Even if some of our moves looked like weirdos ( Jas ) we had fun ! We also learned some african and turkish national dances.. thanks to Elli and Murat ! I said Goodbye to some other friends there and we took our last pictures... here's one ! PS: FIND ME !

Well arround 12 ish we went to our Room to go to sleep or at least for the next hour before the guys and the other girls room came over to have an all nighter... Not everybody stayed up with us but that was fine cause some of them had to leave arround 3 am ! Jasper and I thought it would be a GREAT Idea to drink coffee to stay up, well that worked at first but then we had our complety disfuctional phase. First we were reaaally hype.. we all even had a pillow fight :) then we started to get tired real quick and it felt like we were drunk or on drugs ( which we weren't !)... after a little nap we all talked and later on said bye to the first squad members.

DAY 8

The last breakfast followed soon and we enjoyed the delicious waffles for the last time. It was sad as everybody left, but we knew we're gonna see each other again. I left arround 8 with some of my squad members cause the flew with me or at the same time ( Rodrigo, Toni, Krys ). The flight was terrible, I sat in the last Row and they had turbulances. After a long flight and saying goodbye to Rodrigo in Chicago, I finally arrived at Grand Rapids where my host dad got me.

I quickly felt asleep, dreaming about my Adventure in California. With the most amazing, fun Exchangestudents and friends I know. I can't wait to see them all again this summer :)

LA : Follow me arround part 1

Enjoy, comment, share or like !

California -Trip : San Francisco (5-6 day)

Hey there !

Wednesday...We spend the entire day to drive to San Francisco, what actually was fun !
We watched Pitch perfect ( I can't wait for the second movie ) & Harry Potter 4 (I'm in love with the books ) ! We spend the rest of the drive with awesome sing-a-longs, talks and of course uncomfy naps ! On my way to San Fran. I discovert that In n' out- burgers are the best burgers I've ever tried !
well other than that we stopped at a fruit farm / market :)

As we finally arrived we stopped for Dinner at the famous Forrest Gump-Restaurant, it was a fun location to eat and they had good food too ! Our Hotel was the Hilton Inn which was pretty neat, we had big rooms and awesome breakfast !

I shared my room with Mathilde and Antonia, what was the best decision I could've made because they are just really fun room mates ! With laughflashs without stopping, pillow fights and more it was awesome to be in a room with them !

Thursday.. we went to explore the city ! Our first stop was the cable-car ride which was fun, we ended up shopping and eating chipotle in a Park ! Later we visited the young arts museum, where we played ' when bae..' and where Gina and I talked in funny voices over the Paintings. We also did the most annoying and boring city tour, leaded by a dutch tourguide ?! we honestly all felt asleep.

Later the day we went to China town where we ate dinner and bought funny fake mustaches at a bubble gum machine. We had a lot of fun during dinner because Lukas looked like his hostdad with his mustache and we all ate hot peppers ( we're stupid !).  We gave the leftovers from the chinese restaurant to homeless people which was really cool, because you could see how much they needed it. As usuall Jasper and me talked fake british, we actually got better from day to day :D

Then we went to get our beauty sleep for the next and last 2 days  :(

bye Maxi ;)

California: LA (3.- 4. Day)

What's up fellas, :)
me,toni,murat,krys,mathilde at madame tussauds

Monday... was the most exhausting day we had ( in my opinion ) !  We went to Madame Tussauds, thats a wax musseum. It was really fun to make pictures with all those stars but tbh they looked really real or creepy sometimes !! :)

Later we had freetime and we walked over the walk of fame ( the stars ), saw the chinese men theater, went shopping and ate at the typical white girl store : Starbucks ! I think the stars aren't as cool as everybody told me before but we still took millions of pictures haha !

Well next we went to Beverly Hills, the area of the rich and famous persons.. We walked down the rodeo drive, in case you don't know thats the shopping street there ! you feel so poor when you walk there cause everybody looks rich and there are Bodyguards in front of the shops !

my highlight of the Day :
SANTA MONICA BEACH &PIER
it's just California how you imagine it, warm and with awesome waves. At the Pier are Rollercoasters and othersmall rides / stores. The Beach is really nice, we spend it playing Volleyball in the water or just relaxing. Elli and me also went to a shopping area close to the beach, brandy melville  & Urban outfitters are just so sweet stores (kinda similar to Pacsun) !

can you believe that a Vodka star exist ?

We ate at a Italian restaurant and went home to the Hotel, of course we had to go to the Pool again..

(The club is going up on a.. ) TUESDAY.. was our Disneyland Day !
For a Girl like me, which was obssesed with disney as she was younger, is the first time at disneyland awesome ! And I've to say it was soooo cool ! I met the definitely real Disneyprincesses !!! Can you guys believe that, in case you don't ... I've proof cause I took pictures with them :3

We rode many rollercoasters or rides like the tower of terror which was a freefall-tower and if you know me well you probably know that I'm afraid of heights so it was a huge step to ride that thing. the good part of it was that we had fast-passes so we don't have to wait in line.. with one of those we went to the cars ride, which was my favorite cause my friends and I raced against each other in cars ( that was so fun) !

After a great last day in Disneyland and LA we went to the Hotel with the hot tube and had our last beauty sleep in Los Angeles.

TO BE CONTINUED tomorrow... with San Francisco !

Love Maxine :)

California-Trip: LA (1.-2. day)

Hey Guys,
I decided to write my post's in english, so my american friends and family can start to read those too.
Anyways.. 2 weeks ago (03/14/15- 03/21/15) I was at a California trip (with the Organisation Belo) and it was one of the best trips of my life !! :) I've been to Los Angeles and San Francisco with the most amazing group of people.

Saturday... pretty much was my Flight and arrive Day ! I flew from Grand Rapids - Dallas - LA :)
I met some Exchangestudents on my way there but I didnt really talk with them, besides Lena. Our flight from Dallas had an hour delay, Lena and me had to change our gate like 3 times until we finally could fly to Los Angeles.

As we arrived at the LA airport, Belo staff and a couple other exchangestudents allready waited there. At that point I met Krystian and Murat, two of my friends later. Our group drove with a fancy looking bus to the Hotel, which was like 20 minutes from the airport away.

After we checked in, we went to Target over the street (thats a store where you can get everything) and bought bagels, suncreme and water, which was more then necessary by arround 91 F / 30 C ! Later we went to the pool, where Murat and me ate and shared our bagels with everybody cause they'all were freakin starving :) ! I met so many new people from all over the world, we all were exchangestudents from yfu.  My Room partner at LA : Milena and Melicke.

Sunday.. was my first day in LA. We went to the famous Hollywood sign & Universal studios.
Universal studios was fun ! We had a studio tour, we saw the different studios from the outside/inside and also saw some pretty cool places like from desperate Housewifes or how they let it fake rain etc...

What you maybe don't know is that Universals also have a themepark. They've cool rides which are in 3D and they just kinda move.. I can't really discribe that ! It was just awesome :) We went to the Hardrock cafe for dinner, it honestly was good food. I went to the hot tub and the pool as we came back and  found my squad at that Day !

My Squad are :
Rodrigo - Michigan - Brasil
Jose - Minnesota -Chile
Mathilde- Minnesota - Denmark
Julia - Arkansas - Austria
Lukas- Missouri - Germany
Jasper-Missouri - Germany
Elli- Minnesota - Germany
Antonia - Michigan - Germany
Murat - Minnesota - Germany
Krystian- Arizona - Germany

I miss and love my awesome/crazy friends, I'm so glad we see us in this summer in Berlin & Hamburg !
